Oh come on… please tell me!
And keeping your e-mails - doesn’t that go against everything you believe in?
I mean you live in the moment but you archive your e-mails?
Surely you’d delete them to stop any temptation of looking to the past?
Dom
PS are you being mysterious about work as it might blow your cover…? Are you a spy!??? My God you’re a spy! Are you spying on me? I’ve sent my spies out to report on you. But they’ve come back with nothing.

No need to send message...the title says it all.
PS dog name suggestion #7: Doggie Schnauzer MD
Time to move on Dom. Forget that whore.
ReplyDeleteLance, why!!!?????
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone disagree with Lance? Should Dom persist?
ReplyDeletemove on. forget her.
ReplyDeleteStacey supporters - rise up!
ReplyDeleteI think she's acting a little withdrawn because she opened up to him and he just said he doesn't understand.
ReplyDeleteThey need to spend more time together in real life that will clarify things.
Dom should only persist if Stacey has massive breasts.
ReplyDeleteStacey responded, AND she included another new dog name - give her a chance!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure Dom laughed when he read her reply.....it only would have motivated him to keep digging.....
Think Dom is trying a little too hard. Stacey's just putting him in his place
ReplyDeleteMy Lord - Lance, I can't think of Stacey in that way.
ReplyDeleteMiss Holly - I agree - I think they're playing, testing each other. The Dog name game seems like email riffing to me - seeing if they have a shared sense of humour.
ReplyDeleteAnon, I think they do need to spend more time together - but what if they can't talk in person?
ReplyDeleteGosh, does Dom try too hard? what do you all think?
ReplyDeleteOh no... its going a little cold because they THINK that they don't understand each other, and they're both trying to make a recovery out of an awkward night :S ! WHEN REALLY they do understand each other perfectly!!.. and i think I think the dog thing is really a massive saviour! It's setting the overall tone of the conversation, despite the awkwardness of its contents.. which is pretty fantastic, knowing that both of them are still enthusiastically contributing to a random list of names! - how bizarre right! But at least they know they're still both on friendly terms with each other!
ReplyDeleteThey BOTH need to relax a little about details, and yeah, i agree. Catch up physically for a cup of coffee or tea or something equally bizarre and just continue with their randomness.. I think this is really what is beautiful about this relationship. They are each as awkward as each other, and they can rant on about it for years. - i love it.
Despite how good this is, they probably don't realise it, and frankly i DO get the feeling Dom is going into desperation mode - beginning to try hard. That, and Stacey might be feeling a little awkward about opening up and not being understood, hence why she appears to be throwing up a few temporary shields. Well maybe not shields entirely.
Perhaps consider her defences as scaffolding. He probably doesn't need to try and get through them, but he should work to take them down. They need a meeting! asap :)
[hiranga]
PS - my apologies about the length of this :S
correction>> Perhaps consider her defences as scaffolding. He probably doesn't need to try and *climb* them, but he should work to take them down.

Hiranga, I love your mind
ReplyDeleteSmart arse - a classic flirting move. Has been since grade two!
ReplyDeleteShane
There is no more reason for Dom to cease his efforts now than before. Their limited interaction include an attempted drunk kiss and the consequential awkward emails.
ReplyDeleteThey need more time, preferably sober time. Dom and Stacey can make this work if she'd stop being so withdrawn.
